Dear i5 Insiders,

Hello my Friends!!! It is with joy and optimism that I write to introduce you to the new Executive Director of the i-5 Freedom Network, Stacey Enmeier! 

​

But first, the reason for this news: I will be moving to New Mexico for the next season of our lives to support aging and ailing parents. It is our privilege to be able to join them and help them through this next very challenging time. For the time being, I will be remaining on the board of directors to support Stacey through the transition and as the i5FN is now a part of my DNA.

​

The power of our programs and the organizational health of the i5FN has never been stronger and for that reason it is a great time to make room for a new leader to amplify the impact that I know the i5FN is poised to make. And as the Founder and outgoing Executive Director of the i5FN, I am filled with pride and excitement as I hand over the reins to someone as talented, passionate, and dedicated as Stacey Enmeier. 

 

Questions you may be asking yourself:

1. Will you still have the Big Cheese? YES! APRIL 28! SAVE THE DATE for Big Cheese 8! and I will see you there!

2. What will Brenda’s role be, will she still be a part of the i5FN? YES, as a board member and to support Stacey and to introduce you to her. Let me know if you want me to set up an introduction.

3. Will you keep your awesome office in San Clemente? YES! That is where the magic happens, please stop by to visit (most) anytime, 160 Avenida Granada in San Clemente, CA.

4. Are you going to have a going away party? YES! Sept 27 at 5pm at the office (see above). We are not the i5FN if we are not having a good time. It is also--and as important--a chance to meet Stacey as we pass the baton (which will look a lot like a stapler)

Stacey is a natural leader and community connector, and I am confident that she will not only preserve but also enhance the impact of our organization. She shares our vision to disrupt the cycle of human trafficking so that all may live with freedom and dignity, and has a deep commitment to the values and goals that have always defined us.

 

In the meanwhile, we are nothing without YOU.

 

Over the years, your unwavering support has been the bedrock upon which our organization has thrived. Your generous gifts of time and financial support have fueled our mission to:

• Equip hotels to responsibly and safely report activity in their industry

In light of this exciting transition, we are reaching out to you, our cherished donors, with an impassioned request for your support. We are looking for those who are willing to invest in the lives of Survivors and the safety of our community. Your contributions have allowed us to touch the lives of hundreds of Survivors of trafficking and make a tangible difference in our community. With your continued generosity, we can expand our reach, take on new initiatives, and achieve even greater heights of success.

1. Be a Hero today! - Your one-time contribution can provide scholarships to Survivors toward our Way2Work courses meant to get them on their feet and living the life they deserve.

2. Be a Recurring Hero! - Consider establishing a recurring donation knowing you are investing in the solution to end human trafficking every month, every quarter, or every year.

3. Volunteer - In addition to financial support, your time and expertise are invaluable to us. We welcome volunteers to join our team and contribute directly to fighting human trafficking.
